Chana Masala and Mattar Pilau, part II
I tried my hand at the same Chana Masala that Stewart’s boss’s mother-in-law so kindly made for us a few weeks ago. They bought us some spice mixes for Christmas (score!) so I had the right ingredients to get the job done. The mix we used for this dish can be seen here in case you’re curious.
The rice I made from this rice with peas recipe (scroll down). It was different from the rice we were given–I think their recipe didn’t call for tumeric–but it was still delicious.
