I just got the book today. I just have to say, WOW!!!!!!! I think your book is one of the best cookbooks I’ve ever read. Not just vegan cookbooks, but best cookbooks, period. I have been vegan for 7 years and have a lot of cookbooks. I’m a cooking teacher and food writer and just started my own blog. I aspire for my work to be as beautiful as yours. You really are fortunate to have discovered your passion and your talent so early in life. Congratulations on the beautiful book.

P.S. Have you done any teaching? Dr. John and Mary McDougall hosts a (vegan) Celebrity Chef Weekend every year in Santa Rosa, CA. I certainly can’t speak for them, but I bet they’d love to have you as one of the celebrities. I’m sure the attendees would be thrilled to meet you. You can email Mary through their website. I’ve worked with them a few times and they are super nice.

congratulations and lots and lots (and lots) of thank yous from Costa Rica!!
my book arrived today and I couldn’t be happier! it’s so lovely and the recipes look amazing…I love that every recipe has its own picture and that some of them even have pictures of the steps to follow…
there are some ingredients that are probably going to be impossible to get here, but I’ll try to substitute this and that until I get it right…
    again, THANK YOU!
    lots of love!

I got your book a week or so ago, and it is my new favorite (and I have over 350 cookbooks!) – beautiful, just beautiful – the photos, the layout, the food, the recipes – great job, Lolo! You have produced a book that should wind up in every food lover’s library. Thank you!! :)

Hi, I was wondering if you came up with all those recipes on your own, or inspired by someone else?
How long did it took you to write the cookbook? And how did you put it all together with the pictures and recipe?
How did you get it published?

Critics argued that the publication did not take into account the full breadth of Catholic Social Teaching, including economic, social justice, or other life issues. ,

I am thoroughly enjoying the book. The Marmalade Tofu with Kale & Lemon Pearl Couscous might just be the tastiest thing I’ve ever made. Thank you again!

I LOVE this cookbook! I’ve already made my honey-pie all the Indian dishes in it and he loved them all.Broccolli dal is our new favortie soup. He’s not a vegetarian, but can’t get enough of all your tasy dishes! I never thought I’d make somoas, but your recipe was not at all intimidating. I like the step by step pictures. Thanks!!

I recently stumbled across your book and all I can say is WOW! I’ve tried several of the recipes and have loved them all. I made the picnic sandwiches for my husband and me to enjoy on the deck this 1st springlike weekend. I am vegan but he isn’t and he liked them as much as I did. Can’t wait to toss a few in the backpack next time we go hiking. Thanks.

I stumbled across your book at Border’s and it is amazing! I have to tell you that I have always been health conscious and have made several efforts to go comeplteley vegetarian. However, it never lasts long as most of the recipes I could find were bland and without enough substance to keep me satisfied. Your recipes are satisfying, very delish and made with accessible ingredients. I can’t thank you enough for being the catalyst for a sustaining life enhancing change! You certainly are a creative genius (and your photos are gorgeous too!) . Take care and nurture yourself as you have a true gift. I hope you get high profile exposure so that you can change more people’s lives for the better-Oprah??
