I just bought your cook book (Vegan yum yum) two weeks ago, and I have to tell you, I LOVE it!!! I’ve made the “picnic sandwiches” twice, the “smoky miso tofu sandwiches”, spicy tomato chickpea soup, and the cherry trifles. Everything has been an absolute 10!!! I’ve been a vegetarian for a while now, but recently trying to go complete vegan. This book is making it much easier and certainly more delicious than I imagined it would be. Thanks for an awesome book. I’m going to go explore the recipes on this site now!
gift baskets can really be a nice way to expres your feelings to someone.;:
gift baskets are very cute specially if they are laced with flowers and satin wreathes ..
Wonderful website. Your tips about photography is very useful. I like your sharing attitude. Excellent pic’s, difficult to believe that ur not a professional. I draw lot of inspiration from you. I’m home cook too, recently started blogging. chk out mine. but it’s not up to your standards. I’m focused on improving.http://amisvegetariandelicacies.blogspot.com/
There’s no option to follow this blog. how do i continuously get updates from this site?
Lolo,
This blog is absolutely ingenious, your photos are breathtaking, just looking at them makes me hungry! I am also Bostonian and I think presentation is absolutely essential in a good dish (alongside with how it tastes but I’m sure these are scrumptious!) Can’t wait to try my hand at the tea sandwhiches (never even tried one before) and the blueberry hand pies.
Once again, LOVE your photography

My grandma makes swirly parathas and they are a favorite, however I haven’t seen the fan way of doing it.Thank you very much for sharing the technique. It will make them even better.
Dear Lolo,
Thank you for all the inspiration you have given me… food, photography, love of new things.
My best holiday wishes to you and your loved ones.

WOW, love your website. Your food photos and designs are inspiring! I must stop drooling.
I just picked up your book yesterday, and the first recipe I tried was “Hurry Up Alfredo”. I think I could eat this everyday for the rest of my life and still not get tired of it!
I love the fact that you have photos of every single recipe. Thank you so much for creating such a fantastic recipe book. You will no doubt make my conversion to veganism much easier and enjoyable.
Amazing site! Absolutely first class food styling and photography…I take my hat off to you. Well done!

I bought your book a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed with it! I wasn’t aware of your website and I am not entirely vegan but I was drawn to your book in a shop due to the gorgeous pictures (I hate it when cookbooks don’t have pictures!). I’ve made heaps of the recipes already for me and my generally meat-eating husband and we both love them. Thanks so much. Can’t wait to try the next recipe.
Lauren, thank you for your great recipes. I became vegan a year ago when my yearly physical revealed I have a kidney issue. Your book popped off the shelf at Barnes and Noble because it has such great pictures and play by play steps. So it was very “Vegan for Dummies” friendly. I need food to taste good and be easy to make. Your book does both and is superior to most books out there. I feel more energetic @ 52 years old and can’t wait to try another one of your recipes. Your writing style is refreshing. I’m glad I found your website. Keep up the great work! Thank you again, Joanna

RE: CREAMY KALE SOUP
What Quinoa do you use – seeds, pasta, flakes, flour?
And what do you mean by 1/2 & 1/2?
Was browsing through your book at a book store and could not put it down :) I love how every recipe is “presented” and how you included pictures for everything! Beautiful work! I had to buy it! :)

Superfoods are very much in vogue these days, but sometimes people just don’t know which one to go for. I understand that Wheatgrass is a very good superfood, so if you want to find out more (and perhaps get some recipies and more data) then can I suggest you check out http://www.wheatgrass-uk.com.
I am not Vegan or Vegetarian but I do ADORE your website and recipes!
This is my new favorite vegan blog. Thanks for all the inspiration and recipes. You rock!
I am trying to join your blog as I have had your book for a couple of years and love your recipes. My own food blog is not vegan but I have been leaning that way more and more and now want to take the next step. I can’t seem to find anywhere to follow your blog?
Please let me know how I can subscribe
Thanks,
Belinda
Hi Lolo! I discovered your website a few months ago and bought your book. I wouldn’t enjoy being vegan quite as much without your amazing recipes. Thank you so much!!
I’m so glad you’re back! I went from veg to vegan about 3 years ago, and vegan yum yum helped me through some tough times, especially in the beginning. There are a lot of bad vegan recipes out there (soggy tofu turkey, anyone?) and finding your blog gave me much needed hope and inspiration to actually eat vegan food that I could be proud of, and even pique the interest of my omni friends! :) The book and the website both have such a wealth of information that has been a constant resource for me. I have discovered a lot of other great vegan bloggers and authors since you, and honestly none of them stack up to you! The way you use your gorgeous photos to tell the “story” of the recipe is so succinct, but with such respect for the aesthetic, each recipe (or post) conveys the experience of the cooking process with exactly what it needs and nothing it doesn’t. You are truly gifted and I am so grateful for the work you do!
I have had you book since it came out. I love it!!! I think you are inspiring and I am SO glad you are back. Thank you!!!!
How do we follow you… pleeeeeeeeeeeeease
I don’t know where you’ve been all my life, but I want to marry your recipes!
After 3 years of clean, vegan eating I was led astray for almost a decade, wondering if I could ever break my processed/animal-product-based food addictions again.
Yes, as a matter of fact. I now try to eat at as much raw vegan as I can, and green smoothies play an essential part of this, but finally, some truly fantastic cooked-vegan recipes.
I’m ordering your book.
Outstanding, thank you!
