My Thanks and Updates

Peanut Sesame Ginger CookiesHello Everyone! Just want to say a few things – first, thank you all so much for your votes for Best Food Blog! There are so many great blogs in the competition, it’s really an honor to be a part of it. You guys are great!

I also wanted to draw your attention to the new tabs up at the top – archive, favorites, and how-to. Check them out! I am working on adding a cookbook-like index (alphabetical and categorical), but as you can imagine, that will take a bit longer! It’ll be up within a few days.

How is it that your site doesn’t have many award or recognition, or comments? Your site is way better than some person packing fruit and brusell sprouts and flour shaped peanut butter sandwiches in a lunchbox. This..It’s culinary-smart and fun.
It takes much more work to create a meal for a family to enjoy not just some .. bird food. You’re a badass, for real. Please keep it up! In the future I hope to see more vegan blogs like yours.

(I’ve learned so much from your blog in the past few days)

Hi Crystal – I appreciate your complements, but I like those lunchbox blogs myself! I think it’s great that there are many different types of vegan food blogs, and I love reading them all!

Great job, lolo! I’m super excited for the blogger’s choice awards. (And all the traffic you’re getting from it! It’s great and you deserve it!)

Also: do you know when the next ppk book is coming out? Your test recipes are driving me CRAZY. (Especially this one!)

Lolo! congrats. I just put in a vote for you.
How do you like the cookies, I didn’t make that one.

Emily – just an FYI, the next ppk book is set for next fall.

Love your new tabs–the recipe index is great…can’t wait to go through it in more detail. Love your blog–your food looks great and the photography is wonderful. Congrats. By the way, I ordered some of the bowls that I asked you about last week. I went to the site and then decided to buy a couple of plates…and then mugs….and then some little single serving cast iron skillets… and so on and so on…..

When you incredibly lucky Veganomicon testers say the book will be out next fall, do you mean fall 2007 or fall 2008? :-)

i’m gonna be so bummed if you don’t take the cake for the blogger’s choice awards.

but it’s looking good, so i’m crossing my fingers.
